I have never diluted any paints since now and I was painting exactly that which I had to even with few layers. This time I attempt an extraordinary feat: I diluted my paints, took a sponge and brush, hanged my dress over a bath and started painting!
The effect you can see on the attached picture (live it looks better).
Now I need to do some details... maybe flowers and hummingbirds?
